I'm not tired of the Gargoyles. Not by a long shot. But I am excited about the Gryphons. I will focus on the biker/mercenaries as I give the Gargoyles the proper send-off they deserve. Not that they're going away. The Goyles will play a large roll in their kids lives, but it will be Sebastian, Connor, Amelia, Tabby, Anthony, and all the others who are front and center. These will by new adult stories, so don't worry, there will be sexy times as the young Goyles and half-bloods meet their own mates.
Back to Deacon. I love this book. It is different from the others in that Sabrina doesn't go through nearly as much turmoil as the other mates did. Yes, she has something happen she has to get through, but she and Deacon mate more quickly than the others have. There isn't as much danger in this book, but there were other issues that needed focusing on, and that took precedence. This was one of the hardest books to write while being one of the easiest. I won't spoil things, but just know I had to have my own tissues handy while writing certain scenes.
